OSTEOSARCOMA

My Mugs was diagnosed with Osteosarcome in his front left wrist in January of 2004.  He had injured his wrist by "fence slamming" a friendly Golden Retriever that lived on the other side of a privacy fence.  That fence drove Muggers nuts!  By the time it was diagnosed the cancer had spread approximately 2 inches above the wrist joint and we had to amputate his leg.  Mugs was a true champion handling all with his goofy approach to life and a brave front.  It did not take Mugs long to get back on his feet and romp in the snow though with his massive chest and size it took alot out of him.  Mugs slowly deteriorated until in May of 2004 I decided that it was not fair to make him continue on for me.  As he lived in life, he passed with a smile. OSTEOSARCOMA  There is also a wonderful Yahoo group Canine Cancer that has a wonderful information and support network. Run happy and free Muggers...........
