Jeter is a 4 year old fawn/black masked boy who has to be one of the most incredible guys I've met.  He was surrendered to us by his family because he began to have issues with young children around his own skin kids.  He has only nipped with no full bite. Jeter is an intelligent boy and knows how to sit, shake, down and give a "high 5".  He also walks very well on a lead.  His family told us that he does "alert bark" and we'll be working on that to make sure it goes no further. Jeter is also one of the tallest Boxers I have seen. Measuring 30 inches at the shoulder he has incredibly long legs.  He is a little underweight but we'll be putting that on him.  He does have a 4" plate due to a broken rear right leg when he was 8 weeks old.  The orthopedic surgeon said he would not have problems with it and he doesn't even when the weather is cold.  He is also able to sit and lay squarely. March 10, 2008 Jeter is ready for adoption!  Jeter has done wonderfully in his foster home and has made progress in his issue with children and no longer barks at the fence.  I will not consider a home with children under the age of 13 years.  Jeter loves to go for walks, cuddle, hang out and play with all those that come see him.  He is still nervous in new situations and that may be something he deals with the rest of his life so he is in great need of someone to love him for what his heart shows him to be.  Contact me at boxerrescuer@charter.net Adoption fee $200.00 VIABLE FENCING, ADOPTION APPLICATION, HOMEVISIT AND ADOPTION AGREEMENT ARE REQUIRED!

JAXSON

Please meet the glorious Jaxson!   Jax came to us on Feburary 7th from a western Nebraska shelter.  Very emaciated at 50 lbs we estimate him to be 3-4 years of age.  He's a gorgeous fawn/black masked boy with impecable manners, loving to all people and dogs/cats....he even loves children :o)  We don't know what horrendous experience Jaxson may have had to live through but he is safe now and back up to 73 lbs with the tender care of Angie and Gary in his foster home. Jaxson is a fence jumper.  We've worked hard with him on this issue and it doesn't seem to have made much difference so I am in need of a loving family with a 6 ft privacy fence or the willingness to work with us on this.  Currently we are working with an underground fencing system on top of a 3 foot fence and it seems to be keeping him home though he still has the "wonderlust" in his feet.
