Katie Lynn came to us in September of 2005 from Hurricane Katrina along with her sister Annie and brothers Stormy and Jinx. Katie was immediatley loved and adored by her Mom and Dad, Jacqui and Jordan and no other puppy could have found a more excellent home. I remember the day we met at Jacqui's Mom and Dad's house and here came Katie Lynn (not just Katie mind you!!) with PINK everything......so her memory and health page will be pink also.
Katie Lynn became ill in the spring of 2007. When Jacqui called me in September Katie had been diagnosed with Chylothorax which is a condition in which lymph fluid accumulates in the chest cavity and causes difficulty breathing. While I could attempt to explain this, I think it would be best to provide the link to which you can go. Please know that this disease is not breed specific so learning information on it can be benificial for anyone.

Katie Lynn passed away September 15, 2007 while her Mom held her. Katie Lynn's happy, smiling face and gentle kisses will be in our hearts forever. Yasha, her best friend, will never find a better playmate. Skin sister Madi will never know what it is to run and chase Katie Lynn but her Mom and Dad will tell her how very protective of her Katie Lynn was.
You're in our hearts and prayers Jacqui and Jordan.....know we are always here for you. Thank you for loving my baby.
Katie.......run happy and free sweet girl! We'll see you when it is time.
